Listen with Alexa.

It’s been a long time coming, but the day is finally here…

You can now listen to PVR on any Alexa device.

As well as being available on apps including Radio Garden and My Tuner, plus being listenable on our own website at www.pvrbroadcasting.com, we are pleased to announce we have now been accepted for playout by Amazon Alexa devices. Alexa is best known as a range of smart speakers, but an app for your mobile is also available. It’s just one more step to make the station more accessible to more people than ever before.

Andy Cooper, CEO of PVR and host of flagship show ‘Andy in the Afternoon’ said “We’ve been trying to get PVR listenable on smart speakers ever since we launched last October. Unfortunately it’s a slow process, partly because the technology that powers things like this is still very new. Amazon told us they had some tech issues a couple of weeks ago, but those have all been resolved and I’m pleased to say that PVR appeared on the platform a couple of days ago.”

If you want to listen on your Alexa device, just say “Alexa, play PVR Broadcasting” or “Alexa, play PVR radio” to get started.
