Voice Track Presentation
Voice tracked presentation is similar to doing a show live but your show is recorded for transmission at a later date. If it’s a music-based show you also don’t need to sit through all the songs. You can come in and record your live links all in one go and our computerised playout system assembles everything into a finished show. It’s great for presenters who need to make long shows quickly. For example, voice-tracking a 3 hour show might only take an hour or so.
There is a definite skill to voice-tracking. Most people need to practice before actually recording a show for transmission. However, thanks to voice-tracks being pre-recorded, you can practice as much as you like.
Voice tracking is currently done in our studio at Pleasley Vale, but it may be possible to record shows from home at some point in the future. You can also book the studio for a voice tracking session at any time of day or night, which is great if you’re a night-owl or early-riser and have time to spare at what would normally be called unsociable times of the day.
There is free tea and coffee available for presenters at the studio, plus kitchen and bathroom facilities, which are essential for anyone doing a fairly long show.
